I like this shot because it shows both the eagle and moon in good light.
A rainstorm had come through ruining my friends do.

He does look a bit grumpy!
Your right Audrey………I think all wet animals kind of look a grumpy
The photo at the top of these posts is perfect, Wayne. Stunning, in fact!
thank you Audrey, sometimes it all comes together!
HI Wayne, this picture is adorable. The eagles feathers are all ruffled and he looks like he just climbed out of bed.
your right Robbie! With your creative word talent what would you put in a caption bubble above his head?
Such a beautiful series, Wayne. Thanks for sharing. 💛
always so good to share with you Lynette!

Hi Wayne! Sorry again, for a late revisit. What a wonderful photo. I just wrote on Anita’s blog, as the image is only showing Romeo, it seems Julia has divorced. Lol Have a beautiful weekend! xx Michael
your always welcome Michael!
How beautiful and interesting, too! Thank you so much for sharing, Wayne.
Bad hair day for Eagle? Gorgeous lighting showcasing her. I’m picturing the Eagle revelling in that rain before the skies cleared. – frolicking in a rain bath like the one Liberty and Freedom took? Wonderful photo Wayne. Best, Babsje
thank you Babsje! They do have their bad hair days!
Great pic!
thank you SarahJo!
Nice capture. Are you getting any smoke there?
thanks Jane and no unfortunately. The smoke makes the sun turn pinkish.
I enjoyed this collection of eagle and moon shots, Wayne, and your explanation of how you calculate the variables until, for you, it is just right – thank you!
Rumpled, wet and grumpy! Great photo.
Oh Eagles are never grumpy, they just appear that way so the other animals don’t mess with them until they get their first cup!
Oh yeah, just right indeed! His feathers look cute all fluttery like that. Gorgeous shot Wayne!
thank you Terri!
That is a rare “bad do day” isn’t it? Rain and maybe a few too many feathers missing due to moulting too?
Probably…….I think It was windy that day?
Wind and rain, not an eagle’s friend.
nor mine!
Me neither!
Your friend still looks pretty rad though, even with the soggy ‘do’. :D
Congratulation! What a great shot. Perfect colour editing.
