A “SWARM” Of Moon Jelly’s

I came across thousands upon thousands of Moon Jellyfish up in Mosquito harbour. I have seen them up in Mosquito before.
I found out that a “swarm” of Jelly’s can also be called a Bloom,a Brood,a Smuck and a Smack.
I’m sticking to a SWARM myself!
I shut the motor off when I saw that I was in the Swarm & paddled about. I watched them drift by so effortlessly! It was very relaxing watching them!
I think everyone in a stressful job should get an Aquarium full of Jelly’s!
One at work and one at home!

Moon Jellies

While I was checking out Mosquito Harbour,I came across a whole wack of Jellies!
Actually,I looked up the collective noun for Jelly Fish and it read as follows: A “Brood”,a “Smuck” or my favorite ,a “Smack”!
So,it is not a “Whack” of Jellies ,but rather a SMACK!
So,I guess I should say that “I came across a SMACK of Jellies in Mosquito Harbour”!
It was amazing to watch them all moving so slowly and to see thousands upon thousands of them as well!

Fried Egg Jellyfish

For the life of me ,I can’t figure out how they came up with a name like this!!
I came across this fellow in Mosquito harbour and was impressed with it’s size. It had to be 3 feet if it was a inch!
They usually grow up to 2 feet and have a mild sting from their tentacles. This one was exceptional in size!
I have seen thousands upon thousands at times (Moon Jellys) of jellyfish all around me. The moon Jelly’s do not get this big and are more transparent as well. You can see a moon jelly caught in it’s tentacles off to the left and the bottom right.
Jelly’s are on the increase all over the world because of all the fertilizers we are dumping into the oceans.
