FRANK & FRIEDA CHILLIN

I had been paying attention to the cloud structure on this day(as I normally do) and saw that sunset was going to be good.
It was an overcast day ,but at the western horizon there was a slit of blue running north to south. I new that when the sun came out, that it would really shine onto the clouds. The clouds acted as a “HUGE” projection screen.
I looked for subjects to pose for me and found the Frank Island eagles!
The light was fantastic!!
I always look for that strip of blue along the western horizon on an overcast day. Keep it in mind. Be prepared and place yourself into the best spot to take advantage of it.
