I came across this bear at the end of Grice Bay. I was very lucky to come across this friendly little fellow. He didn’t mind me at all.
You can only get into this spot at high tide. Grice is very shallow. Nobody ever goes down into this area.
There use to be a settlement down there.
Must of been nice to live down there.
These are the two adults taking off. The youngsters were behind them taking off as well.
These guys are so skittish to try & get close to. I saw them up this creek & used the forest cover to get close.
Many of them stay down at the end Grice Bay.
This young Baldy was picking on this Coho for 20 minutes.
He finally flew off without the fish. They do this all the time to make their hunting skills sharper. By the time they become adults,they have become a lean ,mean predator.
This immature Baldy was preying on a dieing Coho. The crow got scared & decided to get out of there while Baldy was killing.
