SUN FLIGHT
On my way back from camping I saw this eagle perched hight on this tree.I’m not familiar with this eagle,so I knew he’d be jumping soon.
Eagles are notorious for being disturbed easily. It’s taken me years to get to know my eagle friends. We’ve come to a understanding.
WHERE I GO PLAY
I like to go up into this valley for camping. Always something going on up there.
UP,UP & AWAY!
WALTER
A HURRIED HERON
JUNIOR
Because this Immatures tail feathers are beginning to turn white,I’m going to guess that it’s 2 to 3 years old?
AT REST
The Daredevil was taking a rest at one of his perch spots.
THE TWINS
The Daredevil & Delilah had not one,not two but three immatures hanging around today & the strangest thing is neither of them were complaining! I think these immatures are year olds, the third one looked older. Both of these Immatures look like they are the same age.So I’m calling them the “Twins”!
THE DAREDEVIL PERCHING
THE DAREDEVIL
TAIL SKIMMING
The tail feathers are not only used for steering but also to tell the eagle where the waters surface is! Last thing a eagle wants to do is go in for a dip.If they do & don’t get back out right away, they can die of hypothermia!

FACES OF EL CAP
It’s been raining for over a month now,so i thought some shots of some other place might be in order. This is El Capitan. A huge granitic monolith in Yosemite.Well known all over the world as one of the best climbs! At night I could see the faint lights of the climbers in their tents. They bivouac on the cliffs face. Better them than me I say!
