thank you Sandra! I’d like to agree but truth be told I have probably several dozen I’ve taken like this over the years.
I’m not a fan of vertical shots.

I cannot get over this absolutely phenomenal picture, taken by Tofino Photography and posted on the website. It is so fantastic I had to re-blog it! (And because I’m a bit jealous too. LOL)
we have eagles like others have Gulls. This is a eagle heaven! I see my fine feathered friends each evening (weather providing of course) and haven’t gotten any luckier………I’m still poor because of not winning the Lottery but feel rich from being able to get close to my feathered friends!
Amazing shot! Thank you for sharing!
thank you,lucky shot!
Wow that really hits the eye!
I always look forward to my visits here.
Regards Thom.
thank you Thom! I was lucky to get the shot as it happened in milli seconds! I was expecting him to do something like that.
Spettacolare! Ciao, 65Luna
thank you Luna!
Now THAT is a hand brake (hand beak?) turn 😱
he does things like that Chris! He’s really a show eagle and plays to a audience of one!

A spectacular eagle photo to brighten your day, courtesy of Wayne 😃
thanks Chris!
Welcome, Wayne 👍😃
This is an incredible picture.
more like incredibly lucky Robbie. That camera I use shoots only 4 shots per second. Very slow compared to whats out there now.
Wow! these images are amazing!
thank you,”The Daredevil” always amazes me!
That is an amazing shot.
thank you Anne, truly a lucky shot.
OMG! That is amazing!
I’m surprised I got it actually? It all happens in milli seconds but my edge is I “knew” he was going to do it! So I was anticipating!
What a gorgeous picture! And my favorite Nat-King-Cole-Song.
Have a wonderful sunday – and stay healthy.
it is a great song! My father loved “Rambling Rose”
You have one unique photo here Wayne, I have never see this position of one flying. Great job.

Yes, the vertical shots do not highlight his features much, but it is still a cool shot.
It is an unusual shot in its own right.
Wow! They are really your friends, Wayne! Posing this way is real love. ;-) Hope you are well, and excuse me again late revisit. Best wishes, Michael

Thank you for your kindness, Wayne! Best wishes, Michael
Well, if you can, why wouldn’t you?! Spectacular!
thanks Adam! Hows Cow town?
Cold and sunny – and strangely (pleasantly) quiet due to most staying indoors!
Stay well!
I know of a spot where they ain’t no bugs!
Yes, I think you’ll be ok in that place!
Wow…what an angle!!
yep,90 degrees! His partner did a 360 once!
Amazing!!
I couldn’t believe she did that! She only did it once and because she’s now passed I don’t expect anyone else to do it
So sad!!
yes,but life is meant to walk that way and I had a front row seat!
😢😢
Amazing! He makes me dizzy just looking at him. Did he call out to you and say “I’ll hold that pose, but make it snappy!”
Breathtaking!!
and I was holding my breath when I shot it…..but I always do that to be honest!
That’s why I’m the lousiest photographer on Earth. I have no sense of perspectives – and I keep breathing while taking a shot. ROFL
well we both do the same thing.
Amazing!!
I love this picture!
once again our scary friend being a goofball!

Twice lucky you :) Eagles, although rare, are supposed to be a good omen when spotted. They are Jupiter’s supreme birds.
Incredible shot!

And this feeling shall last :)
