These geese were going the wrong way.
They normally at sunset are heading to the west, however these guys were going to the east.
Many birds head out to the islands for the night to rest. They can rest and not worry about any ground predators.
I came across these guys right out in the harbour.
There are thousands of birds migrating through the Tofino area right now. The mud flats are very active as well with our visiting feathered friends!
These four Black Brant geese went by and I managed to pan with them and got the Lighthouse in the background. Lucky.
These geese were passing through on their way to their summer feeding grounds up north. I waited for them to be over top of the Long Beach Lodge.
The light was poor,but you take what you can get!
