Trumpeter swans stop here on route to the William Lake region I think. I often miss them but I have been seeing a group of 8 along Okanagan lake every day as I go to my appointments there and return. If the wind is up, they tuck their heads down and look like a bit of floating ice !
Such beautiful birds.
Yes,but very skittish!
Wow what a flight and for sure they are trumpeters.
Oh yes, they are a true force of Nature!
Yes absolutely true 😊

are you sure they are Trumpeters and not Tundra or Mute’s?
Most likely they are Trumpers.
I will post a photo in a coming post and hope we can identify them. I am uncertain.
The reflection on the water is as beautiful as the Trumpeters.
I thought so too, so I included it.
I like seeing the reflection on the water – mountains, trees, but especially the graceful swans.
Such elegant birds, Wayne.
very elegant and very skittish Robbie!
Yes, I am sure they are skittish.
