I went to visit my friend the Daredevil tonight. I think he’s upset at me for not visiting him more often? He didn’t come when I called and didn’t want to play. He does that sometimes.
Yes, he needed spectacles sitting low on his beak to complete the photo of his disgruntledness!
It’s not the first time he’s been upset with me. I’d explain to him that the weather stops me but I’m pretty sure he wouldn’t understand!
I always wonder if the squirrels put two and two together and figure out that it’s snowing like crazy or freezing rain = no Linda today. I try to give them a little more when I know the following day will be bad weather … not that they hold onto it as they usually either eat it right away or bury it.
they may? I know my eagles expect me only on sunny days and near sunset!
He is so wonderful. Thanks for sharing, Wayne! Maybe you should gift him some sausages, for Christmas. ;-) Let me wish you a wonderful and enjoyable Christmas time, and – preventive my delays – a wonderful beginning of the New Year. xx Michael
He must have been too busy!
maybe I interrupted him while he was decorating his tree?
How do you call him, and how does he play?
I raise my right arm to call him. I take off in my boat and call him, and he’ll chase me!
That is amazing. You have a really good relationship with him.
Hope he’s OK in all your bad weather…..
Oh I think he’ll be fine. They are better suited for weather then we are!
Wow!
Daredevil is like my cat, Wayne. If she feels neglected, she punishes me by ignoring me. Funny little thing.
bad kitty…..but I bet she forgets all about that when she hears the can opener!
Nice light on the first two images, taken during the golden hour, I assume. Hope he comes to greet you in the familiar way next time.
He will Jane, who knows why he was more standoffish?
What a handsome devil!
He is isn’t he!
Does sound a little miffed
He has done this a few times before. At least he flew over to visit but on other occasions he stays put (wherever that is?) and ghosts me!
🤗😊🤗
Smart birds with huge personalities, evidentally , Wayne! He’ll come out and play again!
Oh I’m sure Terri, getting to know a wild animal is were the magic lies!
I like all three pictures, but the middle picture is a disgruntled look, like the stern librarian wears. Clearly you must visit more often Wayne!
He does look pee’d doesn’t he!
