Thank you Donna!
When I review the shots later and see him looking out into the setting sun with such beautiful clouds in behind, I sometimes get drawn in wondering what was he thinking?
Yes, indeed! Wayne, do you always know when you get ‘the shot’?
yes and no………I do know when I get the shot but I do not know If the camera did! Meaning focus mostly! Most of my shots are done with fast moving subjects. Trying to get that focus in a split second is hard!
So I may pan perfectly but If the auto focus cannot grab the subject ,the shot fails.
That makes perfect sense! You know you got it, but not if the camera did with light and focus. Oh man, split seconds must be a mixed blessing – a challenge and a thrill. Keep up your wonderful work, Wayne. The rest of us love what you do.
Majestic photos or Eagle surveying his domain in silhouette like an Emperor. Stunning.
Well said!
thank you Liz!
You’re welcome, Wayne!

I agree, I think that too. :-)
Well you tell it like it is Wayne – it is a great profile against a sky that looks like it is on fire.
Thanks Linda! I love doing silhouettes with him when the clouds are wispy!
That was one regal eagle and a gorgeous background, not to mention a clever headline.

Stunning!
Clouds really put icing to the cake!
