LOOK OUT

HERE COMES THE SPIDER-BEAR

Apologizes to Bob Harris and Paul Webster who wrote the Spiderman song.

With Halloween coming I thought this video might be of interest! Actually both Linda and Babsje suggested I use it for Halloween.

We set one night aside each year where we try to scare ourselves silly. Of course it’s all in fun and there is no danger actually lurking. However, the salmon who escaped this bears clutches would beg to differ! The thing I love about this video is that I did nothing to set this up. I didn’t put that web there or tell this bear to come along at just the right moment! Because the sun had set,It was dark enough for the bear to trigger the Infra- red lights to come on!

Trust me, If you had been here when this was going on you’d be truly scared!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN

  1. Very cool Wayne. It is perfect for the season and we get to glimpse the bear through the spider web, so something very different and fun as well. It puts us in a Halloween-y mood.

  2. How uncanny that the spider created this beautiful web right on the camera. and then to have the bear calling through it. Loved your video, Wayne, and the clever lyrics. It’s also so cool to see how strong the web is even in wind.

    1. I’ve found that before Jet. The housing I place the camera in does provide a opening for a spider to do its thing on! Normally you cannot see the web during the day but at night If the lights come on it pops out!
Funny how both are searching for food in such different ways isn’t it.
