It’s easy If they are perched together……..the larger one is the female. When separate the male will have a smaller beak to head ratio. The female has a larger beak and head. The male has a more “chicken” like head.

This is one of my favorite spots to shoot because of those snowy mountains. The usual model is a Heron but sometimes I get a eagle.
