sorry Emma,I didn’t explain….when I’m travelling in my boat I search for bears walking along the shore. I spotted them a long ways off and went straight to them. I ended up about 30 feet from them for the shots. If I stay in my boat a bit from shore and do not move when they are looking at me I can get close!
Thanks Wayne.
your very welcome Emma!
So cute, but best seen from a safe distance, giving the space we all need.
Arrow was dancing around! She got down from that barnacle encrusted log which caused a thin limb to whip Bella in the face. Bella flinched but kept eating.
It was a great day Adam! I never even thought about going to look for bears up in Fortune as It was a busy day already.
These two were icing to my photographic cake!
Gorgeous gals!
they are a duo to be sure!
Nice to see them enjoying the sunshine!
and even better for me to see Emma! I was able to spot them from over half a mile away! Conditions were absolutely perfect!
That’s an excellent zoom len you have Wayne!

yes,of course Jane. Being in a boat makes them far less scared!
Bears, bears. I want more bears.
I will send you a few Noel!
These bears made my day – look at mother and daughter enjoying each other’s company. They remind me of this quote:
Don’t walk behind me; I may not lead. Don’t walk in front of me; I may not follow. Just walk beside me and be my friend. ~~Albert Camus
If I run across them again Linda I will tell them you said that. I’ll record it and send the video to you.
Well that made my day as well Wayne. I have always liked that quote and they were looking together and was immediately reminded of it.
I just adore these bears, Wayne. I hope they had a good teddy bears picnic.
