OUTSTANDING IN ONES FIELD

  1. Wayne – the heron always has such a nice silhouette and so graceful at “take-off” – today I saw one flying over the Park, the wingspan made it seem so graceful. They have nowhere to land due to so much water at the cement landing. That’s the first time I’ve seen a heron in ages.

      1. Yes, they do have quite a set of lungs! I miss Harry flying away when he sees me pulling out the camera to get his picture – the one heron I got up close to earlier this Summer was young as the older herons would never have permitted me up that close. They make a screech that could wake the dead for goodness sake.
