      1. They are kind of blah-looking – the green background really set him off. That’s why your silhouettes are so striking … the unmistakable shape and you always know what kind of bird it is.

      2. Next heron that disappears into the background, you can call it that. But I commented afterward that the heron in flight, not the elongated one, the other more close-up, you could see the beautiful feathers. You normally don’t notice the blue.
