  1. The herons look so long and gangly looking sometimes but when they take off, they look so graceful. That big wing flapping likely dried him off as he looks like his head and neck were wet in this picture.

  2. They are so incredible. I saw a heron when I was kayaking before, and I was able to get very close to it. Unfortunately, I didn’t have my camera, but the moment it stretched it’s wings to glide away was breathtaking… I won’t ever forget it.
