The Oystercatchers have begun to move from the outside to the inside.They always come in when the Fall/Winter storms begin to hit. It’s the only time I can get close to them.

  1. I always think the black oystercatcher is the most handsome of the oystercatchers, and your photos do them proud. Love seeing the sand on the bill. This is the oystercatcher we have on the coast in northern California, and I can never see enough of them. They are fairly vocal, which helps to locate them. Lovely photos, Wayne.
