  1. Was it too windy? The reason I ask is that the hawks all come out when the wind picks up, they ride the currents and I would have thought eagles do that as well.

    1. In high winds all eagles take refuge.Eagles are huge birds with very large wing spans.They would have problems fighting the winds with such large wing spans.So they take cover,but Hawks can fly about in winds because they have much smaller wings.
