UPDATE:(JUNE 20th) I have decided to call this yearling “Browny”,because of it’s nose colour! Which is unusual for a Vancouver Island Black bear! Vancouver Island Black bears have a dark or black colour to their nose!
The mainland Black bear has a brown nose.
This is unique genetic trait of the Vancouver Island Black bear!
