Waxing Moon
The next full moon is a week from tomorrow. Friday the 15th.
The best time to shoot the moon is either on the 12th or 13th.(Tuesday and Wednesday) The difference in time between when the moon rises and the sun sets is 115 minutes on Tuesday and 56 minutes for the 13th. 56 minutes is tight,but if there are no clouds,we could have an amazing moon just above the eastern horizon!
The only problem is that you have to have something as a secondary subject in the foreground to add?
In Tofino that means shooting to the east where the moon will be rising and there isn’t much to write home about there! Browning Pass and thats about it?
Maybe Kennedy Lake? The image would be a perfect mirror as well because the water would be very calm most likely?
I will have to check this out closer.
Remember that these times are for Tofino only and you have to calculate your times where your Lat. and Long. are!
